What Exactly is an ‘Assault Rifle?’

KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- The definition of an "assault rifle" is pretty simple -- it's a "select fire" weapon, which means it's a weapon you can use to fire a single shot, change it to a three-round burst or make it fully automatic -- firing until you let go of the trigger.
