Westboro Baptist Church ‘Obama Antichrist’ Protest Fails

WASHINGTON — Westboro Baptist Church was in Washington, D.C. on Monday attempting to protest President Obama’s second inauguration.

However, judging by the turnout, they failed miserably.

The group of about a half dozen protesters were confined to a penned area, the Huffington Post reported. And there appeared to be way more signs than protestors.

Ringleader Margie Phelps tweeted a few pictures of the event, including this one posted below:

In total, the photos were retweeted just 10 times between each other.

The group recently made news in December after more than 280,000 people signed a petition on the White House website to consider them a “hate group.”
