KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Four thousand runners turned out Sunday and laced up their sneakers and headed underground for the annual Groundhog Run.

The race raises hundreds of thousands of dollars for Children's Therapeutic Learning Center.

As FOX 4's Carey Wickersham reports, for some it's more than just the chance to get out of the cold and run.
