OVERLAND PARK, Kan. — A Quik Trip in Overland Park is back open after an early morning fuel spill.

A fuel tank driver spilled about 100 gallons of fuel while refilling the underground tanks at the Quik Trip, located at 9200 Sante Fe. Fuel spilled into the parking log and into nearby storm drains.

Firefighters monitored the air in the storm drains to make sure there was no danger of an explosion. No injuries were reported, and the Quik Trip has since been reopened.
