KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- You're probably like many people in the metro -- downed trees from nearly a week of non-stop weather. So, what do you do with them?

The following solid waste/tree disposal sites will be open on Saturday March 2, 9 and 16 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

  • 10301 Rayton Road, Kansas City, Mo.
  • 1815 North Choteau Trafficway, Kansas City, Mo.
  • 5401 NE Pleasant Valley Rd., Kansas City, Mo.

These services are free for Missouri residents. However, only people living in Jackson and Cass counties may participate because of rules over disposal of wood in Platte and Clay counties.
