KANSAS CITY, Kan. — The headaches continue at the Kansas DMV. Customers are still experiencing delays and long lines nearly a year after the office upgraded their computer system. The problem now is with finalizing titles.

Customers say instead of it just taking a few minutes, it’s taking up to an hour because of computer glitches. It frustrates customers not only because of the increased time involved but also because tax payer dollars were used to fund the problematic system upgrade.

The Kansas Department of Revenue still has not doled out the last payment to 3M, the company in charge of the project, and says it won’t until all the glitches are resolved. The DMV installed the upgrade last may.
