Police hope to ID person of interest in credit card theft

INDEPENDENCE, Mo. — Police say they are looking for a man wanted in connection with a stolen credit card in Independence, Mo.

According to police, a woman had her credit card stolen on Feb. 5 while she was at a 7-11 convenience store at Missouri 291 and Gudgell Road. The suspect took the card to Walmart, 4000 Bolger Road, and used it several times.

Suspect vehicle shotPolice released a photo Thursday of a man in his 20s with a medium build. Police also released a photo of the car he left the store in — a light-colored 1990s model Chevrolet or GMC Suburban-style SUV.
