Kan. second grader nominates FOX 4 reporter for ‘Kindest Kansas Citian’
STILWELL, Kan. — FOX 4 reporter Eric Burke has been nominated for the “Kindest Kansas Citian” award by a second grader at Stilwell Elementary School.
JP Moore, who Burke has profiled in the past, said he was “very nice and cares about everybody in Kansas City.”
“I met Eric a year ago when he came to my house and interviewed me because he works for FOX 4 News,” Moore said. “He was so kind and really cared about me and what I had to share.”
“We kept in touch after that day and he even did another story with me a couple months later.”
The 23rd annual contest is sponsored by STOP Violence, a program by Synergy Services.
