Are peeps really indestructible?

It's been rumored that Peeps, the marshmallow yellow Easter treats are indestructible.

Families in Indiana were determined to dispel that myth this weekend.

An interactive history park invited families to find out just how many ways you can destroy a peep.

Children melted the treats in acid, shot them out of a cannon and even dropped them from a hot air balloon.

No matter which way they did it, it was all about learning.  The FOX 4 News team learned on Sunday that they make a big mess when you cook them in the microwave.
