Search warrant nets cocaine, marijuana, cash; man arrested

PLATTE COUNTY, Mo. — The Platte County Sheriff’s Office served a search warrant Thursday that seized cocaine, marijuana and more than $1,300.

Deputies said when they searched the home in the 4000 block of NW 57th Terrace there was a child inside.

Michael Espinoza, 31, was arrested and charged with possession of narcotics with the intent to distribute and endangering the welfare of a child.

The child has been released to family members.

Espinoza’s bond was set at $75,000.
