KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A Kansas City man has been charged in connection with the discharge of a firearm and the wounding of two people in downtown Kansas City, Mo., early Sunday morning.
Jackson County Prosecutor Jean Peters Baker said Tommy O.C. Robinson, 29 faces unlawful use of a weapon, two counts of second degree assault and three counts of armed criminal action.
According to court records, witnesses told police that a man had fled the area of 13th Street and Grand Boulevard after they heard multiple gunshots. Officers found two persons suffering from non-life threatening gunshot wounds.
A report of a vehicle description and partial license plate number led police to a residence where Robinson said he had been in a fight at the Power & Light District and had fired multiple gunshots.
Robinson also acknowledged fleeing from police.
He is being held on a $250,000 bond, prosecutors said.
