KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A Kansas City man, who allegedly led police on a 29-minute chase on Wednesday, has been charged with a felony for resisting arrest, Jackson County Prosecutor Jean Peters Baker announced Thursday.

Terrance S. Diamond, 33, faces one count of resisting a lawful stop, which is a felony.

According to court records, officers attempted a car check of the vehicle that Diamond later said he was driving when the vehicle left at a high rate of speed. The pursuit ended approximately 29 minutes later in front of police headquarters.

Prosecutors requested a bond of $50,000 cash.
