Gas line capped after car accident in OP

OVERLAND PARK, Kan. — A car struck a gas line Wednesday evening in Overland Park, Kan.

The gas line was capped around 8 p.m.

Crews were called to the area of College Boulevard and Antioch just after 7:30 p.m.

The intersection was closed while crews worked to cap the leak. Some businesses near the area were evacuated as a precaution.

No serious injuries resulted from the accident and no injuries are reported from the gas leak.
