Dr. H2O (AKA: Wilbur Dunnell, Supervisor at KC’s Water Services Laboratory) is the super hero of science and a master at artfully explaining the exciting science of water quality.

Wilbur has been conducting water quality science lessons in classrooms for almost a decade, and this morning made a stop at FOX 4 Morning News to talk about National Drinking Water Week.

Water Services is planning several water-related activities aimed at educating Kansas City residents about our water supply, where it comes from (The Muddy Missouri River), and what happens to it before it reaches the tap (more than you realize)!
