KANSAS CITY, Kan. - Relatives of a little girl missing since May 1, want authorities to do more to find her.

They fear her mother, Kaylie Bailey is among the bodies found on a farm in rural Ottawa.  Kelly Bailey is her second cousin and wonders why nobody is talking about the search for Lana.

"Lana.  She's just the biggest blue-eyed baby there is, you just couldn't not love her," Bailey said.

Bailey said she hasn't seen the one-year-old for a while.  She said Lana and her mother were living in Olathe because Lana's father, Shawn, is in jail and the couple is soon divorcing.

But Olathe police Sgt. Brad Caldwell said relatives filed a report on May 3, that Lana and her mom had been missing since May 1.

"The news was on, Fox 4 news was on, and I just kind of glanced over and seen Lana and Kailey's picture on there and I was like, 'Whoa that's my family!'" Bailey said.

Relatives said they fear Kaylie's body is one of three adult bodies Franklin County Deputies have discovered on the farm outside of Ottawa.  Relatives said Kailey was visiting a friend who lived at the home.

"I don't know what led up to this death if that is Kailey, but it's not that baby's fault," Bailey said.

The only thing this relative wants to know is where is Lana?

"Why is there not a report, an Amber Alert out, why are they not looking for her?" Bailey said.

Sgt. Caldwell said they did not issue an Amber Alert for the baby because the report didn't meet all the criteria, one being there is no information the child had been abducted.  He also said they get numerous missing person reports and there was nothing unusual about this one, so they didn't issue information to the media.

In the meantime, relatives are pleading for tips for the sake of little baby Lana.

"Tell us where that baby is and if she's still alive because she could still have a chance," Bailey said.

Franklin County authorities said they're waiting for the bodies to be positively identified to figure out whether to issue an Amber Alert for Lana.
