A news anchor who made headlines for swearing on his first day on the anchor desk now has a new job — as a bartender.

A.J. Clemente made national news in late April, for his famous on-air flub (watch below). It took the station just one day to decide to fire the fresh face to TV news.

Clemente was seemingly everywhere after the on-air slip-up, making appearances on “Live with Kelly & Michael” and David Letterman.

But, his 15 minutes might definitely be up.

The Daily Mail reported Tuesday Clemente is slinging drinks back in his home state of Delaware for $2.23 an hour.

“This is what I’m doing for now — I definitely need to make money for bills,” the paper reported.

For the record, Clemente told Letterman he was still hoping for a gig from ESPN. It appears, however, that’s not happening any time soon.
