KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A city bus hit a car Tuesday morning and an ambulance was called to the scene to take at least one person to the hospital.

It happened before 8 a.m. at 55th and Cleveland.

Witnesses said the ATA bus side-swiped the car. The people in the car were able to get out of it and appeared to have minor injuries. At least one of the passengers on the bus was reportedly taken to the hospital.

Police have not indicated what caused the accident, or who was at fault.
