KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Both Kansas and Kansas State have earned NCAA Academic Progress Rate standard scores for all of their athletic teams.

K-State’s met the APR standards for the third year in a row, including three of the teams posting perfect APR scores: women’s golf, men’s golf and men’s cross country — all three led the Big 12 in their sports.

Wildcat women’s basketball led the Big 12 as well, with an impressive APR score of 990.

The only other Big 12 school with more APR leaders was Texas, with 10. The Wildcat’s finished in second place overall in the Big 12, tying with Iowa State.

In addition to capturing nine straight conference titles on the basketball court, the Kansas men’s basketball team posted a perfect APR score for the seventh time in a row.

The women’s cross country team also posted a perfect score. Kansas ranks fifth overall in the Big 12.

The latest APR results are from the 2011-2012 academic year.
