Voters approve Olathe bond issue

OLATHE, Kan. — Olathe residents voted to allow $245 million in bonds to pay for a fifth high school, another elementary school and upgrades to security and equipment.

Unofficial results show the bond passed by 77 percent.

This vote was a no-tax increase bond, meaning property taxes will not be increased to pay for it.
