Big Budgets, even bigger flops.  Are we witnesses the collapse of the Summer movie blockbuster?  FOX 4 movie critic, Russ Simmons, ran down the biggest flops of this summer and why the movie industry may need to rethink how it operates.

2013 Summer Flops:

Lone Ranger
Budget: $215 Million
Projected opening weekend: $70 Million
Actual opening weekend: $29 Million
Gross to date (2 weeks): $71 Million
Projected loss: $50 Million
2. Pacific Rim
Budget: $200 Million
Projected opening weekend: $40 Million
Gross to date (1 week): $37 Million
3. After Earth
Budget: $130 Million
Projected opening weeked: $38 Million
Actual opening weekend: $27 Million
Gross to date (7 weeks): $59 Million
Projected loss: $20 Million
