Negotiating for the best price is something most of us have done on everything from homes to cars to major appliances. But few people use those same negotiating skills when planning a funeral even though experts say they should.

The average funeral can cost between $8,000 and $10,000 and as FOX 4 Problem Solver Linda Wagar points out, there are lots of ways to cut costs.
