AS Roma beats MLS All Stars 3-1
KANSAS CITY, Kan. — Playing in a front of a sell-out crowd at Sporting Park, AS Roma defeated the MLS All-Stars 3-1 in the MLS All-Star game on Wednesday night in Kansas City, Kan. Roma scored one goal in the 4th minute of the contest, then two more goals in the second half. The MLS All-Stars got their final goal in the 92rd minute when Omar Gonzalez scored on a Camillo free kick.
Major League Soccer Commissioner Don Garber announced before the game that MLS plans to add four new expansion teams by the 2020 season. The announcement took place live during halftime shows of the league’s television broadcast partners.
