SHAWNEE, Kan. — Two women report a disgusting and frightening experience at Garrett Park in Shawnee, and police hope to catch the man or men responsible.

The first flashing incident occurred on Saturday, July 6 late in the morning. A woman walking on the paved trail in the park reported a man pulled his shorts down to his ankles as she approached him on the trail. She thought he was walking the trail, too, but instead he exposed himself to her.

A few weeks later on Wednesday, July 31 between 9:30 and 10:00 a.m., another woman walker reported that a man exposed himself to her.

The park is located at 22325 West 47th Street in northwestern Shawnee.

In the second instance, the suspect is generally described as being very tan. He is between the ages of 18-25, lanky, about six feet tall and 170 lbs with closely cut dark hair.

The first man is described as having darker skin.

Shawnee Police ask you to call 913-631-2155 if you have any information.
