$10,000 missing from Olathe parent-teacher fund

OLATHE, Kan. — Police are investigating how more than $10,000 is missing from an Olathe elementary school’s parent teacher organization.

Investigators believe the money was stolen gradually from Westview Elementary School’s parent teacher fund; beginning in August 2010.

This is the second incident this year in which PTO funds were allegedly stolen from a Johnson County school.
