KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- A maintenance worker injured his ankle while working on the roof of a building on Monday in Kansas City, Mo.
Police said the man was working on top of the Juvenile Justice Center, located at 625 E. 26th Street, when was injured. The man injured his ankle so severely he could not put any weight on it. Despite not wanting to be assisted down, the unidentified man was unable to walk. Firefighters worked together to help him off the building. He was taken to an area hospital. His injuries are not considered to be serious.
