KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- A man in the FOX 4 Problem Solvers ‘Hall of Shame’ is going to prison. Steve Burkhart is the Kansas City man convicted of selling mobile homes without titles and stealing customers' life savings.

A judge handed him a five-year prison sentence on Friday after hearing heart-wrenching testimony from five of Burkhart's victims. One victim told the judge he had nothing left after giving Burkhart his life savings for a mobile home that he later learned Burkhart didn't own and could never obtain title too.

Burkhart's girlfriend told the judge he was a good man who hit hard  times, and that he wanted to repay the people he cheated but hadn't been able to hold on to a job because of all the negative news coverage.
