Police arrest man responsible for slow-moving police chase

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Police have taken a man into custody responsible for a slow-moving police chase in Kansas City, Mo. Police said they pursued the driver of a tractor-trailer, suspecting him to be under the influence of narcotics on Friday.

The unidentified driver was taken into custody near Chouteau Trafficway and Gardner Ave., around shortly after noon.

Police confirmed they used stop sticks to slow the driver. As a result, the driver lost his two front tires.
