Recipe: Fall Turkey and Apple Sandwich

Serves 4 │Prep Time: 10 minutes

ALL YOU NEED

8 slices 100% Whole Wheat bread

1/3 cup apple butter

½ lb. reduced sodium deli turkey, divided

4 (1 oz. each) slices Havarti cheese

1 large apple, cored and thinly sliced

4 fresh lettuce leaves

ALL YOU DO

Place bread slices on cutting board.  Spread apple butter mixture evenly on bread slices.
Top each of 4 bread slices with 2 oz. smoked turkey, slice of Havarti cheese, apple slices and lettuce leaf.  Top each prepared bread slice with remaining half of the sliced bread, apple butter side down.  Slice each sandwich in half and serve.
