FLORIDA -- A man cycling to every major league baseball stadium, raising awareness about cochlear implants, had his effort cut short.

In all, Jacob Landis has cycled more than 10,000 miles in his trek. He has visited 29 of 30 stadiums across the country.

He was in Florida, cycling toward Miami over the weekend when a tractor trailer drove by. A mirror on the truck hit Landis. He suffered a concussion, several broken bones in his face, as well as numerous cuts and bruises. He also injured his arm in the crash.

Doctors told him to stay off his bike for at least two weeks.

Landis plan to attend a finale party and the Miami Marlin's game Tuesday night; he just won't be riding to the stadium.
