Take a look at the map detailing the most popular names for girls last year. Clearly, the popular choice for most of America was the name "Emma," including Kansas City.
But on the west coast, the name "Sophia" was the most popular. Idaho was the only state that liked the name "Olivia" the most.
As for the boys, there was more varation. The name "Liam" was popular in the upper western part of the U.S. The name "William" was most popular in the southeast.
And the name "Mason" was liked best by folks who live in the Kansas City metro.
