Prisoner turns himself in after not showing up at work site

LANSING, Kan. — Police confirmed a man in minimum custody at the Lansing Correctional Facility turned himself into authorities Saturday morning after he was reported missing Friday evening.

Zackary Conger was reported absent without authorization from a work site in Overland Park.

He turned himself into Lenexa Police at about 9:45 Saturday morning.

He is currently serving time for burglary, forgery, and theft.
