Billie Bell inspires her students to love science and that's why two of her colleagues love her.

Not only is she a science coach for K-12, she also helps support single and homeless women through the overnight shelter called Naomi's House. When she mentioned to her friends that she would like to open her own house for Naomi's House, her friends nominated her for FOX 4's Pay it Forward.

She is this week's $300 recipient -- and she was surprised.

"I'm speechless," she said. "This is really awesome. Thank you so much. I love people, I love working and love science. There's so much I can do with this!"
