After nearly two months of investigating, body found in Mo. River identified

PLATTE COUNTY, Mo. — A body found in an unincorporated portion of Platte County near Waldron was identified as 35-year-old Christopher M. Rielly on Thursday. Rielly was found on September 12th and investigators had initial trouble identifying him.

In the immediate aftermath of Rielly’s body being discovered, investigators hoped his tattoos would aid the investigation. He was eventually identified utilizing his finger prints for confirmation.

Rielly’s was most recently from the Leavenworth, Kan. His cause of death is still undetermined and other questions remain as he was not reported missing.
