ROSENBERG, Texas — Sometimes it’s the little things that make all the difference.

A Rosenberg, Texas, police officer pulled into an apartment complex and saw a boy tossing a football into the air by himself. Instead of giving a nod and passing by, the officer pulled over and offered to play catch.

For about two minutes the officer and the boy tossed the football around on Saturday, Jan. 18. Video of the incident was caught on police dash cam.

The Rosenberg Police Department said the officer was doing his part to reach out to youth in their community.
