OMAHA, Neb.-- They're a jovial bunch, typically laughing, joking and doing something a little goofy. This year's American Idol judges and original host, Ryan Seacrest, are trying to bring the fun back to American Idol.
Last year's group of judges: Mariah Carey, Keith Urban, Nicki Minaj, and Randy Jackson provided a tumultuous panel, and it even caused Mariah Carey to slam the show.
This group, however, told FOX 4 while in Omaha that they're having fun with the process, in part because they like their co-workers.
"Bottom line- they're sweet people," said Harry Connick, Jr.
While Connick Jr. may describe his fellow judges as sweet, not all contestants will. You can watch the competition and this year's judges on FOX 4 every Wednesday and Thursday night.
