FOX 4 sends sixth grader’s parents back to school

KANSAS CITY -- Remember your school days? Backpacks, hallway passes and after-school activities ruled the day.

Well, those things still exist, but some parents might say the whole school experience nowadays is on steroids. We enlisted the brave Baxters to take part in our experiment.

They agreed to do all the homework their sixth grader Olivia does for one week. Watch the video to see how the Baxters fared.

    When Chris Baxter said he could arrive at a correct answer, but not when attempting to do it as his daughter was instructed to do so, this sounds as if she is being ‘educated’ according to the Common Core curriculum. Are the Baxters aware of how Common Core is disrupting the classroom?
