Cooper Manning just wanted the baseball that was intended for him.

In a game between the L.A. Dodgers and Team Australia, a player on the field tossed a to Manning, but the ball didn’t quite make it. It bounced off the wall. A security guard picked it up and did the unthinkable. He gave it to another kid — at which point Manning had a major meltdown. Others sitting in the stands near Manning even appeared shocked the security guard didn’t give the ball to Manning.

Lucky for Manning, the boy who got the ball gave it to him. Problem solved.

See pictures and read more from, who spoke to Manning’s father who said he was at home watching the game and saw the whole thing unfold on television.

He was upset that something that was meant for him was taken away and given to someone else. He’s a kid. A young kid too. He was visibly upset. I don’t think he “threw a fit”. The entire clip was less than 30 seconds long. The adults around clearly believed it was his too. The other kid understood and was kind. As a parent, the only thing I would have done was made sure he went to the other little boy and properly thanked him.

I totally agree…I throw a very similar fit every Friday morning when I see over a thousand dollars taken out of MY paycheck just for federal income tax…

Kid acted like a little brat…entitled little turd.

Shameful. The kid looks old enough to know better. Kids being raised to behave like this are exactly why our country’s future is as murky as it appears to be…although, the kid that took the high road and let the brat have the ball kindles some hope.

Lay off this poor kid, he’s little, may have some type of unknown issues. And really it wasn’t a huge fit. He was pretty upset sure, but think of this from a 5 or 6 year olds view point. The ball was meant for him, the guard messed up here. The boy saw the ball meant for him being given to another kid. The poor kid was just trying to say that it was his ball and he was being wronged. Even the adults around the boy who the guard gave the ball to, seemed upset. They all know that it was Coopers.
