HARTFORD, Conn. -- A 28-year-old UConn Huskies basketball fan is trying to not be too hard on himself for skipping an important step when filling out his bracket.

While most everyone else's bracket was messed up long ago, the bracket Corey Johnson built at the beginning of the tournament was still holding up.

Then, it was discovered the bracket doesn't show he actually ever picked a winner.

Everyone knows which team he would have picked. As a Huskies fan, that was a certainty, but Johnson forgot to fill in that blank line for the championship winner, or else it didn't 'stick' when he did, and therefore will not win the $100,000 in Yahoo!'s Billion-Dollar Challenge.

"I didn't leave it blank. I clicked something. I clicked on the winner. I picked UConn to win. I live in Connecticut; I'm a UConn fan...I picked UConn to win. What's the point of making a bracket if you don't pick a winner?" Johnson told bleacherreport.com.
