KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Students from the Children’s Center for the Visually Impaired (CCVI) will be hunting for special Easter eggs on Wednesday, April 16, thanks to the AT&T Pioneers and the KCMO Bomb Squad.

The first Beeper Egg Hunt was at the beautiful Loose Park. The morning hunt is hosted annually by the AT&T Telephone Pioneers.

For more than 20 years, the Pioneers have made the Beeper Eggs by placing a battery-operated beeper inside sturdy plastic eggs. When the switch is turned on, each egg emits a high-pitched tone or "beep" so the children can track the hidden eggs.

The afternoon students and infant students/families had a Beeper Egg Hunt of their very own at CCVI, hosted by the KCMO Bomb Squad.
