Organization that wants to assist homeless needs help of its own

KANSAS CITY, Kan. -- A new organization is set to help the homeless and working poor in the metro. Avenue of Life has plans to purchase the old Salvation Army building in Kansas City, Kansas.

From a food pantry to a counseling center to a barber shop, 20 agencies are standing by to set up shop. FOX 4’s Carey Wickersham reports about the one obstacle standing in its way and if you can help, click on this link.
