Believing an abortion will further her career, wannabe celebrity Josie Cunningham said her unborn child will not prevent her from becoming a star.

“I’m finally on the verge of becoming famous, and I’m not going to ruin it now,” she said in an interview with the Mirror.

Cunningham, 23, is 18 weeks pregnant. The father is believed to be either a Premier League football player or a client at an escort agency she has worked for.

“An abortion will further my career,” she said. “This time next year I won’t have a baby. Instead, I’ll be famous, driving a bring pink Range Rover and buying a big house. Nothing will get in my way.”

Cunningham said her decision to have an abortion is based on negotiations she had regarding her chances of being on the reality show Big Brother.

“Channel 5 were keen to shortlist me when they found out I was pregnant,” she said. “Then they suddenly turned cold. That was when I started considering an abortion.”

Cunningham said after she gets the abortion she will ask to be reconsidered for the show.

What a foolish and self centered woman You will have to live with this. Every Mother’s Day will be a reminder. How idiotic can a woman be? Have the child and give it up. Give that baby a chance to have a life.

Although I am pro choice, I actually hate abortions; but since I am a man and will never have to make that decision, it isn’t my place to tell others what they should do. However, I find this woman’s reason for wanting an abortion to be outrageous. She is contemplating having one for all the wrong reasons. She is so selfish that she is willing to kill her unborn child for the sake of getting on a tv show. She has no moral fiber.

    • Your mother was pro life!

I agree she has terrible, self-centered reasons for wanting to do this and shouldn’t do it but you are pro-choice so your saying anything about this woman makes you a hypocrite.

What would be the right reasons for her to “kill her unborn child”, Justin? I thought you pro-choice people didn’t believe it was actually killing anything. So, if you are pro-choice, she can use any excuse she wants to kill it. If you don’t believe that, then you are not pro-choice. Maybe, you should change your stance to be pro-justifiable-baby-homicide.

Wow…she sounds like a real piece of work. I guess they have WT in England as well. Yes, you may become famous but it would be no different than the type of fame people get for being on Jerry Springer.

Everybody is being a little unfair. She’s having an abortion to further her career. If she were aborting the child so she could go to law school or start a new executive position without having to worry about carrying for a child it’s the same thing. Either abortion is a valid choice or it’s not.

Im going fo defend Justin. I personally do not feel abortion is the righting to do exp since my husband I have been trying for 8 years. But no body has a right to choice what you do with your body. That is why you were giving free will. I just pray she can live with her decision. I do not see a TV show putting her on there with this contriversity surrounding her.

I’m pro-choice, but I think this woman’s values are wrong. She is someone who shouldn’t be in the public eye, she is shallow and a bit of a sociopath. Craving fame and fortune above all else is wrong if not immoral. She is using her fetus as a tool to get attention, and in her mind to become famous. She has no talent other than making bad choices. Why would anyone want to watch her on TV? People like her are a waste of space. It would be better for her to have the baby and give it up for adoption. This way she will still have her 15 minutes of notoriety and have a good light shined on her instead of people hating her. Face it, she would make the worst mother.

    • Dennis

So what you are saying is you are pro-choice as long as the choice is for a reason you agree with? It’s her choice, so you as a pro-choice advocate have to be okay with that.

I hope that her plan backfires on her & that they refuse to reconsider her for the show. So many people are trying to have children & can’t & this sorry piece of humanity is throwing away a precious life for her own selfishness. Abominable.

Who would want to see her on a reality show? If the destruction of a baby is nothing to her…well she is far less than worthy to gain from his or her death. The unborn are living, growing beings…if they were not they wouldn’t have to have their lives terminated..they would grow until birth. She will have to live with her decision, though she might not appear to have the capacity to do so.
