Suspected bank robber, Raytown

RAYTOWN, Mo. — The Federal Bureau of Investigation confirmed a bank robbery at First Federal in the 9300 block of E. Gregory Blvd., in Raytown Mo. The incident occurred around 11:45 a.m. on Thursday, April 24.

The suspect wore a yellow vest with reflectors and a hard hat. Investigators have released no other details at this time.

A second bank robbery occurred a couple of hours later at a Bank Midwest, located in the 6200 block of Brookside Blvd., in Kansas City, Mo.

The suspect wore dark colored clothing, including a jacket with a hood he pulled over his head.

It’s unclear at this time if the robberies are related.
