Local Boy Scouts set up almost 2,000 flags to help us remember the reason for the holiday

LENEXA, Kan. -- Boy Scout Troop 162 set up nearly 2,000 flags to honor and thank veterans this Memorial Day.

It's a beautiful display at 95th and Renner in Lenexa as the stars and stripes, 1,769 of them, were carefully and uniformly placed.
