MARYSVILLE, Wash. -- A Monday morning ride on the bus turned into a hairy situation for one rider who reportedly picked an unfortunate seat. KOMO reports that 56-year-old Robin Myers allegedly set that rider's hair on fire. Fortunately for the victim, an adjacent rider helped extinguish the flame by smacking her on the back of the head.

Court documents describe that Myers and the victim were formerly friends.

Myers is charged with assault and has been banned from Community Transit after she was accused of using a Bic lighter and possibly a canister of hair spray to start the fire. Bus surveillance shows she sat directly behind the victim when the incident happened.

Charging documents say that police recovered two lighters and hair spray from Myers' purse. She told authorities the incident was an accident.
