KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- A corn field mystery near KCI airport has been figured out. People flying in and out of the airport may have seen something of a crop circle, only it looks to depict a person in an awkward pose.

It turns out Spirit Airlines is behind the corn field art. Spirit is starting service at KCI in August and the airline says it's a way to introduce itself to the metro and to point out its "bare fares."

Their fares do not include your bags, drinks or snacks.

FOX 4 thanks Brandon Billinger for pointing it out to us on Twitter.
