American Idol auditions come to Kansas City: Monday, July 21

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Take the day off, exercise your vocal chords (Do, Re, Mi, Fa, Sol, La, Ti, Do!) and get ready to stand in a pretty long line at the University of Missouri, Kansas City campus for this year’s American Idol auditions!

Auditions will be held from about 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., rain or shine, on Monday, July 21, at Swinney Commons, 5030 Holmes Road, on UMKC’s Volker Campus.

Participants must be between 15 and 28 years old.

Top contestants might appear on Season 14 of American Idol, which will air in 2015.
