Woman reports rape on party bus

OVERLAND PARK, Kan. -- A woman reported being raped while on a party bus late Sunday night in Kansas City, Mo., -- or Overland Park, Kan. The woman isn't exactly sure where she was at the time of the alleged assault because at the time of the crime the bus was bar hopping.

The woman said around 11 p.m. a person assaulted her in the back of the bus. The woman called police after she was dropped off in the 11000  block of Oakmont in Overland Park, Kan.

"The assault actually occurred on the party bus somewhere between Kansas City, Mo., and Overland Park," Overland Park Police Captain Jim Sutterby said.

The woman is being treated at an area hospital.

Police are trying to determine which jurisdiction the crime occurred in -- Kansas City or Overland Park.
