It seems these days anyone with a smartphone, video editor and a little determination can whip up a television commercial. It may not look pretty, but who cares? Sometimes the more terrible an advertisement is, the better. One only needs to watch the East Hills Mall commercial to know that. But across the country in Staten Island there’s another commercial — made months before the mall ad — that is growing in popularity.

The Troy Restaurant in Staten Island commercial is full of peculiar graphics and references to medieval times. But is it really as bad or worse than East Hills Mall’s commercial? You decide!
