ALTON, Mo. — Fifty years ago, the Beatles performed in an unscheduled stop in Kansas City during their second concert tour of America.

To mark the anniversary, there’s an Ozarks Beatlemania Festival this weekend in Alton, Mo., in the southern part of the state. View their list of events at ozarksbeatlemania.com.
