OTTAWA, Kan. — One family in the FOX 4 viewing area is singing their own tune for the Kansas City Royals.

“I wanted to share this awesome parody of the “Royals” with you,” wrote Shelly Frank to FOX 4. “My four daughters do a great job of harmonizing, and my husband wrote the lyrics. Please watch and enjoy!”

The video’s YouTube description reads: “(From left) Rachel, Lindsay, Lauren, and Katie Frank singing a parody of Lorde’s hit song “Royals” about the Kansas City Royals. Lyrics written by Ken Frank, produced by Lindsay Frank.”

Previously, Christian music artist Matthew West, a major Royals fan, released his own rendition of the song that quickly became popular on the Internet and airwaves.

The Royals play their first World Series game since 1985 on Tuesday, Oct. 21 in Kansas City. Game time starts at 7:07 and will air on FOX 4 News.
